A Man Who Cares - What Manner of Man is This? Part 32

The sermon continued our series "What Manner of Man Is This?" -- an ongoing exploration of the person of Jesus Christ and what it means to truly know him. Drawing from the account in Mark 4, where the disciples cry out to a sleeping Jesus during a storm, the message focused on one piercing question: "Do you not care that we are perishing?" The sermon unpacked what it means that God genuinely and deeply cares for each of us -- not in a way that coddles our flesh or simply fixes our immediate problems, but in a way that is rooted in eternity and aimed at our lasting transformation. Through the stories of Lazarus, Mary and Martha, and the imagery of casting our burdens on the Lord, we were reminded that God's timing and methods are not a reflection of his indifference -- they are an expression of a care that runs far deeper than we often allow ourselves to believe.
