Unashamed - What Manner of Man is This? Part 19
The sermon explored the profound truth that Jesus is a man unashamed—unashamed of us, His bride, despite our imperfections and brokenness. We examined how Jesus bore our shame on the cross, hanging naked and humiliated so that we could be free from shame and live without being ashamed. This has direct implications for our spiritual life: as we become like Him, we're called to be a people who live free from shame and who refuse to be ashamed of others in the body of Christ. Just as Jesus nourishes and cherishes His church while she's still imperfect, we're called to embrace the diverse, sometimes messy body of Christ with the same grace—becoming a seamless garment woven from the top throughout, united in Him rather than divided by our differences.
